Mesan (Sam Towndrow & George Conomos) knew from the first time they stood shoulder to shoulder behind a mixer that their complementary styles were something that needed to be combined into one unique sound. 

Between them Mesan have almost 10 years club DJ experience spanning the globe.

2010 was the turning point for Mesan having won the SHRUG DJ competition and having the privilege of playing alongside recognised USA producer, PEZZNER (Urban Torque/Freerange) at one of Sydney’s most popular venues, the Civic Underground. Having performed a memorable set Mesan was quickly billed to play amongst some of the largest names in the underground music scene both internationally and locally. Names such as FUNK D’VOID (Outpost/Bedrock/Cocoon), DESYN MASIELLO (Faciendo), ADULTNAPPER (Get Physical), ERNESTO FERREYRA (Cadenza), FABRIZIO MAURIZI (Minus), MATTHEW DEKAY (Cecille/All Day I Dream), SQL (Gem/MBF/Trapez), NAMITO (Systematic), YOKOO (Plastic City), ROBBIE LOWE (Proton), MURAT KILIC (Stil Vor Talent), DAVE STUART (Shrug) + More. 

2011 started with a bang for Mesan being asked to provide a guest mix for Tim Culbert’s .AUdio Show on Proton Radio. The mix was extremely popular and ranked Mesan as #34 in the top 100 DJ Mixes ahead of many international talents. Secret Garden Festival was a very special occasion for Mesan being asked to headline one of the stages. Recognised DJ/Producer Trinity (Pinksilver/Beef Records) was interviewed on Resident Advisor and quoted Mesan as "enthusiastic, talented and have great taste in music" and the next DJ’s to look out for.
